Turn off lights Use energy-saving light bulbs and LED lights. Recycle Buy eco-certified products Avoid driving Plant trees Avoid plastics Turn off taps Unplug electronic devices Avoid consumerism Bibliography: https://www.nationalgeographic.es/medio-ambiente/que-es-el-calentamiento-global https://www.un.org/es/climatechange/climate-action-coalitions https://www.ecologiaverde.com/calentamiento-global-definicion-causas-y-consecuencias-1095.html https://www.ecologiaverde.com/como-cuidar-el-medio-ambiente-3789.html

In the future probably…

*Temperatures will be more extreme. *There will be more natural disasters. *Oceans will rise and flooding will become a problem. *The air will be more polluted. *There won´t be as much fresh water available.  *There won´t be green areas, due to immoderate logging.  *Extinct animal species won´t able to recover. *Some animals will can mutations *Contamination will can cause disease in humans.

Global warming consequences

Imagen
Among the many consequences of global warming and climate change, the following stand out: *Weather changes (droughts, heat waves or torrential rains). *Melting of the polar ice caps. *Loss of habitat for many species, which will lead to the accelerated extinction of some of them. *Ocean level rise and water warming

Climate change causes

Imagen
*The generation of electricity and heat by fossil fuels causes a large amount of global emissions (industries and factories). *Cutting down forests limits nature's ability to keep these emissions out of the atmosphere. *The excessive use of transportation. *Production and distribution of packaged foods.

What is global warming?

Imagen
Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's oceans and atmosphere.  Global warming and climate change have the same main cause, the massive emission of different greenhouse gases, known as the greenhouse effect.  The "greenhouse effect" is the warming that occurs when certain gases in the earth's atmosphere retain heat. These gases allow light to pass through but retain heat.

What is climate change?

Climate change refers to long-term changes in temperatures and weather patterns. These changes may be natural, but human activities have accelerated the process of climate change through the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas. The burning of fossil fuels generates greenhouse gas emissions, which act like a blanket around the Earth, trapping the sun's heat and raising temperatures.  Examples of greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change include carbon dioxide and methane.
